I have a Schuberth S3 helmet with SC2 intercom and my friend has a Sena Stryker (probably with Sena 50S). When we connect, there is a constant background noise. We changed many settings but couldn't find which one. One time, My friend received a phone call and couldn't answer it. Then when he tried to call back, I don't know how he did it, but when we reconnected, the background noise was gone. We tried our intercoms both paired with Bluetooth and connected that way, and we tried with Mesh. The result is always the same. That background noise is constant and it is very annoying on long trips. Once we caught a completely quiet moment, we thought it was a mode that was turned on and off, and I wanted to ask you. The only difference between my friend and my intercom application was that HD sound quality was turned on in my helmet.

Swap the Eurocrats Bureaucratic exhaust, pop in an airbox lid and filter, ECU flash and suddenly it's EXCITING and makes a RAD NOISE, and picks up a whopping 10 horsepower. And a whopping 8 ft-lb everywhere, especially in the middle.

So you have a huge battery at the back of your helmet but you need a replaceable battery for the remote? Instead of just one you have two separate devices to turn on and off and apparently you can’t use an actual remote for the system because the controller on the helmet already counts as a remote? Integrated system also means you need to connect your helmet to a charger instead of just charging the intercom thingy. And it uses Bluetooth 5.0 standard that’s nearly eight years old. These helmet intercom systems make me sad. There are no manufacturers interested in making actually smart, modern systems.

IMO it's all a matter of degrees regarding the term 'dual purpose'. For those that want to occasionally venture down a gravel road the RE is fine and in my experience it copes very well. For those who want to be somewhat more adventurous then the DE also fits the 'dual purpose' moniker.

Looking for a new helmet for my wife. We went to try on several helmets today and she really liked the C3 Pro but they didn't have her size (XS). I was gonna order it for her online, but I'm wondering if this helmet is worth the extra expense? Is it that much better than the C3 Pro? Cost isn't really an issue if its a better option. Thought?

I had the Daytona GTX 16 years. Than the sole on one of them broke. I send them both to the factory and they came back with new soles looking like new. For free!!! With a little note with it that said:‘sorry about the sole, that shouldn‘t have happened‘! I will never ever buy other motorcyclong boots than Daytona! Just bought a new pair!

I love mine. It makes the commute to work so much fun. The windscreen is a gem. Beautiful gobs of torque to keep you ahead of the dummies and out of trouble. The brakes are good. Fun

Was loaned the 800RE by my dealer recently while my 8S was in for service, super comfortable and a competent mile muncher, never expected anyone taking it on track so kudos to you.

How is this helmet at highway speeds 85mph+? I notice Helmets without Spoilers really wobble more, especially on a naked bike.

now if you'd try on a 1050 Road version non-DE- you might find you get the extra oompa, with a plusher and fully adjustable suspension and the cruise control on top. If you dont mind carrying a few more kilos! Really appreciate how you talk about motorcycles it really connects in a personal way. Funny you said it but a different moto can make you change as a person! It's true!

Was wondering would it be possible for you to provide the sole height measurements for the ball of the feet area, as well as the heel area?

Did it came with pinlock 70 or pinlock 120? As some came with either, did you have any issues fitting the pinlock to get it seated ?

Great video. Unfortunately, I'm still not getting the spoken directions from my TomTom Rider 550 through the SC2 headset. And that's all I wanted, and the reason I bought the C5 with SC2. Phone connected to SC2, TomTom connected to SC2, settings TomTom set to 'spoken instruction on' but no luck. Schuberth is saying it's due to the TomTom. TomTom is saying it's due to Schuberth. Very frustrating. Anyone know how to fix this?

Will it mesh with cardo systems? That's the only thing stopping me from buying the helmet currently and I'm not seeing a definite answer anywhere.

I got this bike in the green color that is available here in the US. I am almost out of break in and it's proving to be a lot of fun.

Aftermarket cruise control appears to be available for this bike. For example MCCruise website shows a “plug and play” option (no splicing). Perhaps other aftermarket options exist as well. That enhancement might make this bike a compelling mid-size touring bike.

Is it possible to connect the sc2 with another sc2 system and with a cardo system at the same time?

It's not my choice of jackets, but i love her hair.

I just spent two hours on it; in the city, outside, on the highway. My fears were confirmed how I imagined this motorcycle after the DE tests: the engine is great (the torque) but the vibrations are unbearable. My right leg turned to jelly. They start at 5,000 and because this engine has higher revs than, for example, Trasalp, they are present even when driving quite slowly. The position is OK but uncomfortable for long rides. This motorcycle is more of a commuter than a touring motorcycle. Certainly not an adventure (adventure is not a trip to the Alps or Spain, but, for example, the wilderness of Bolivia). I don't understand Suzuki's policy at all; the best thing thay can do is to have one DE/RE motorcycle without the disadvantages of both: no vibrations, lighter, tubeless tires. These two models are just an artificial offer.
